An online voting rights portal that aimed to help voters overcome new ID and polling place requirements across the country during the Obama 2012 Re-elect campaign. Republican-dominated legislatures made several changes to voting requirements and we wanted to be sure that voting would be easy for every eligible voter. This online tool gave voters detailed state-by-state information on how and when to register. It also collected phone numbers and email addresses, offering to remind potential voters when to register. This site was absolutely crucial to the teams on the ground registering voters every day. The Gotta Vote branding extended into placards, buttons, stickers, buses, and other polling place materials. The brand was meant to be approachable, fun, and exciting–something you can get behind.
